A strong believer in the importance of early development, Brittany Brown has devoted her career to making leadership education accessible to emerging leaders. During her educational tenure, Brown has worked in curriculum design and development and in performance architecture. She has led several digital education initiatives, including a patented leadership app and the Truist Financial Foundations program that has reached over two million high school students throughout the past 12 years. She led the development of an early childhood literacy game for K-2 students that reached over 250,000 students. Her work in the digital education space has been honored by the ASTD Training and Development Conference, where she facilitated a session and was a featured author in their digital solutions magazine. She has also led a partnership with the Girl Scouts of North Carolina to develop a special Legacy patch to be earned through participation in the Legacy leadership program.
In 2014, Brown was invited to join the Leadership Institute Team with the express mission of developing a certification program to help college and university undergraduate and graduate students realize the importance of self-awareness in their leadership journey. That work continues through the Truist Emerging Leaders Certification. Brittany continues to work in business administration, manages the Truist Financial Foundations program, and leads Forum programs for TLI.
